What does this mark on a bronze censor represent?

It says "Da Ming Xuande Nianzhi" (Made during the Xuande reign of Ming (dynasty)). But, judging from the color of the metal it is modern. Even now lots of bronze and brass censers with Ming dynasty marks are manufactured.
