Chinese Watercolor Painting |

Message rat, Thank you for your reply. I've spent years watching my grandfather collect chinese antiquities. We'll be taking some of his pieces to Sotheby's later this year. I guess I've finally matured enough to enjoy and understand the love he has for antiques. So this was a commissioned piece of art? That's interesting. I'll be taking it to my grandfathers where he will show me how he restores the frame and re-frames the painting. Is there any other advice you can give? I don't want an appraisal but I paid $10 for it, do you think it's worth more than that? I intend to simply hand it up and hold onto it as it's my first purchase in the footsteps of my grandfather. Thanks again for your response! Post a Response |
