Re: comment for the blue and white bowl |

Message Since they're transfer-decorated, your bowls could be older Japanese or newer Chinese wares, though I would guess the former is the case from their general appearance and the opacity of the white glaze. The photo of the mark is too fuzzy to make out all of it, though the character on the right means 'wood', so could be some sort of tree or woody plant. Best regards, Bill H. Post a Response |
