Unusual squirrels & grapes rouleau vases |

Message Photos... http://www.flickr.com/photos/23676403@N07/sets/72157625149758917/ Just bought this beautiful pair of vases, each measuring a little under 18" tall. The design is clearly Chinese, but I have not seen examples of Chinese porcelains using brown & tan glazes, especially over guan. I have seen examples of 19th c. Chinese relief moulded rouleau vases in the 100 precious items design, but not in these colors and not on guan. Can someone ID these vases and period? Post a Response |
