Japanese Geisha Woodblock prints |
Posted By: Polly Feeney Posted Date: Dec 05, 2010 (05:34 PM) |
Message I have had these 2 Japanese woodblock prints since 1985, when they were given to me by a lady who aquired them while living in Japan (1946-1948) working for the Army Corps of Engineers as a secretary/interpreter. Over the years I have spent countless hours poring over websites that deal with Japanese woodblock prints in the attempt to determine the ID's of the artists. To no avail... They are going to be professionally reframed next week, and I would be so grateful for any insight/info pertaining to the original artists. Thank you in advance for ANY info you may be able to provide. Polly Post a Response |
