Message for what it's worth, the inscription says that the painting was painted in mid-summer 1763 in the style of a painter whose name I don't recognize offhand, Zhao Zhongmu. Zhongmu is likely an appelation/nickname, not the artist's given name, but none of the major painters I know of surnamed Zhao have this nickname. Again, the quality of elements of the painting is quite good, but I don't have any real basis to believe it's by Jin Post a Response |
