Message Hi. Not an expert, but I know a few things about birds and collect Asian art, so perhaps you will allow me a guess. I don't think it is Chinese or Japanese. First, the birds seem to be some type of Bird-of-Paradise, found in the Islands around New Guinea and Australia...here's a photo of one displaying... Second, I think your print is oriented incorrectly. It should be horizontal with the signature at the bottom with the red seal to the right of the signature. The signature seems to flow from left to right, rather than up to down. Frame shops make wiring mistakes all the time with abstract subject matter hich can lead to a print being hung upside down and sideways. My guess is that this is a print brought back from Australia.
