A great deal of similar imitation batik decorative art was on the market in Taiwan during the mid-1970's, wherever tourists and military personnel shopped. It is like 'deja vu all over again' as it reappears in estate liquidations with increasing frequency nowadays in the USA. Silk screening was the method of choice for producing them, as I recall.

Best regards,

Bill H.
