Antique Chinese Jars |
Posted By: peter Posted Date: Mar 29, 2011 (11:22 PM) |
Message I may be a bit late, but would like to comment on the first one. I can't imagine this as being a late Qing item with a mark written that badly. The writing looks worse than the scribbling of a child. Generally, late Qing marks are written much better. The impression it gives is that the writer had no basic Chinese writing skills.
