Message I remember the auction when this bowl was sold and wondered why anyone would pay that much for this. There is no way to be gentle about it. Your bowl is very modern. No such bowl ever existed in China's history. They were all the rage in the 1980 and can be found in every China friendship store and other curio store made for the tourist trade. The seller of the bowl also never indicated it was old... Help yourself especially your wallet if you want to collect. Get some books, read, be patient and the world of antique collecting will slowly open up to you. If you simply rush in, you will regret it immensely. Post a Response |
