Message Well, I went sleuthing on the Internet. I also recently got a big 13-inch plate, a medium size jar and a small bowl that look similar in style and age to this big plate. From what I can figure, it appears to be Swatow export ware from the Zhao Zhou kilns. Maybe late Ming-early Ching? All of them were simple in design with a lot of wear but no major damage. And they were CHEAP. Anyway, I think they are cool...whatever they are. Post a Response |
