| Need help IDing Chinese bowl |

Message Hi there, I have a rather large Chinese bowl with what looks to be blue and white transferware. It has four medallions with the crane design on it. The bottom looks carved out on three places...why? I'm a total newbie to Chinese porcelain but have acquired this piece and would like to learn more about it. Here is a link to my questions about it, with pics, on another site ( can't figure out how to post pics on this site) So far, no one has given me any information about the bowl. I've found out that the plates on the link are Rose Medallion, but that bowl is a mystery to me. Thanks for any help you can give me! Post a Response |
