I would very much appreciate any assistance in determining if this figure has any real value and history. It belonged to my late aunt who was one of the most prominent African art collectors of her time. She went to some trouble to get this statue mounted and really treasured it, so I doubt that it is a tourist trinket, although I just don't know much about it. It's very dense, hence my impression that it is bronze. Any ideas of value would be appreciated as well.
