A chinese bowl with a dilemma |

Message This is late Qing dynasty, Guangxu period crackle glaze with a warrior decoration. Whether it falls into the late 1800s is difficult to tell, but it looks older than many of this type, that are sold nowadays. There is the possibility that some colors were over-painted at a later date. If you look at the decoration you will see the crackles through the original colors, only the white and yellow colors show non-transparent, thick enamel. Post a Response |
