Question about two japanese Onna-men masks |
Posted By: Luciano Valle Posted Date: Dec 10, 2013 (01:18 PM) |
Message Hi there, I have two Onna-men, images of a Ko-omote and of a Zo-onna, both in wood and signed; the first one, the Ko-omote, in its original wood box, which is inscribed with some writing. Since, unfortunately, I do not understand the japanese language, please, I would like to know the meaning of the writings and, eventually, the authors of my masks. I hope in your kind help. Thanks a lot in advance and greetings from Rome, Luciano https://plus.google.com/photos/114527450688935316321/albums/5955825479024675457/5955825548292739170?
