Message This apparently is a Chinese dish, though the decoration looks more chinoiserie style. The base mark says "Hall of Land & Water Creatures Pottery Utensil Manufacturing & Decorating Company" (Shuilu Dongwu Guan, Taoqi, Zhishi, Gongsi - 水陸動物館,陶器, 製飾, 公司). There's nothing traditional about this kind of decoration, so I would guess it is mid-20th century or later. Best regards Bill H. Post a Response |
