The idea

Many years I dreamed to create something interesting in the Internet for World of Art. And in July 2006, I founded this website the http://www.WorldArtNames.com

You will see the Virtual World Map on the main page of my website. This Virtual Map is divided into 5,100 of 100-pixel blocks (hence there are 510,000 pixels in total). Total Earth square is 510 000 000km2, but it can be very large picture, so I decided to equate 1 pixel to 1000km2. With time I plan to fill out the Virtual World Art Map by the names of artists, galleries, museums and art related websites. Hence, we will have Word Art Map with Art Names (WorldArtNames.com) which is limited by 510 00 pixels/km2. Everyone is welcome to buy my Art pixels, which are available in 100-pixel 'blocks' (each measuring 10x10 pixels).

You can buy as many pixels and add your name as you like, as long as there are some available (see the live stats in the top right corner of the page). When you buy some pixels, you can then display an image/name/logo of your choice in the space you have purchased. You can also have the image click through to your own website. However, only Art websites are allowed.

Your image and link will be on-line for at least 1 year (starting from the day it published). After expiry of the 1 year term(starting from the day it published) you need to pay yearly prolongation fee 10% from purchased pixel quantity, so I can continue displaying your image and link.

The pixels you buy will be displayed on the main page permanently. The main page will not change. So, in the long run, I believe the pixels will offer good value. And you can add your name and link in to the Internet World Art History!
