black laquer table with mother of pearl and ivory or bone?

i recently bought a beautiful table at a flea market i know nothing about it other than it came from an estate sale of elderly retired military officer .i dont know enough about asian culture to recognize any of the subjects or symbolism it is large aprox 7 ft the whole table top is covered with birds clouds flowers and six human figures delicately carved out of mother of pearl and other materials that i cant id i cant figure out how to post pics but would email to anyone who can help thanks
