Help identifying this pottery

My mother has had this pitcher for years, and it origonally belonged to my grandfather who came into ownership of it sometime during World War II. None of us know anything about it, but it does have a marking on the side which we believe might be chinese. I am trying to find help with identification of this piece. I am including 2 screenshots and a link to a video we uploaded to you-tube for you to look at. any help you might be able to give will be greatly appreciated.
