Dear Cal,

no matter what it is, one thing is without any doubt.

This artifact is unique in many senses and does not need any excavation record because:

- it has the most perfect craftmanship and artistic expression of all honghan artifacts ever came to public audience.

- patina and luster are unique, the black staining is due to natural color infiltration, the thick surface oxidation layer is, among other indications, sign of very great age.

- also without any documented excavation record, it is clearly visible that this artifact has an age of at least 4000 - 6000 years, probably even more.

- it is unique, a similar specimen in similar quality can be found only in the Stockholm �stasiatiska Museet and the Aurora Art Foundation Taiwan. Authentique old Buddha Statues, ancient Dzi Stones, Qi�nl�ng Jades etc. are manifold compared to this unique item. This object is, without any doubt, more rare and valuable than the Guennol Lioness that has sold for $57,161,000 at Sotheby's New York in 2007.

- the style, craftmanship and type of jade whitnesses clearly that is is from a neolithic inner mongolian culture, probably early hongshan or earlier.
