First, I don't think it is XiYing. It is quite roughly finished.
Second, the character on the top is Shou - meaning long life.
The pattern on the side is based on the 100 ways of writing the character Shou. But there are only 49 on the side we can see. Are there another 49 on the other side, and are they the same as these or different? Even if there was another 49 characters on the other side, plus the one on the lid, that would only make 99. So it would be incomplete.
Third, why didn't you show the base. That should usually contain the mark of the maker, or maker's Hall. Additionally, I would look for another mark on the inside of the lid.
Whatever, this looks very much like something made for the tourist trade, not a piece of serious tea ceremony ware.
