correct identification to end debates (PLEASE)

THANK YOU rat and ernest! I truely appreciate yall's (you guys) help (:
Unfortunately I live in SC...wish I was close to BC because I could really use some help w/all this stuff-don't know chinese from japanese-definately in the dark.
I have another piece that looks similar to the one I pictured earlier...could they be a set? The "new" one is much larger. It's not with me right now but I'd guess the mouth is about 4x2 inches. I tried to photoshop the pic to bring up the engravings-wasn't too successful w/ the pic I had. I'll try and take some better pics the glare tends to make it difficult sometimes.

Neat to look at all the treasures other people have! Thanks again-sorry I'm a little long winded!
