The inscription on your leaf dish wraps up in the last two stacks on the left side, saying this piece was done at Zhushan (another name for Jingdezhen) during the last month of autumn in the Jiaxu year, a cyclical date equivalent to 1934.

I can't decipher the other red seals associated with the inscription, but the one on the base reads down and across from the top right as "Xi ping cao lu" (希平草廬), which translates as "Grass shack with a hope for Peace". This is a mark associated with Wang Dafan (王大凡), one of the more prominent members of the "Eight Friends of Zhushan".

The kicker is that Wang was well known for a lot of great painted porcelain, but I don't believe he was well known much if at all for snow scenes. I would regard this piece with suspicion until and unless someone can explain the seeming anomaly at play here.

Good luck,

Bill H.
