A gilt bronze image of the Green Tara (syamatara)

The goddess wearing flowing robes and bodhisattva ornaments is seated in Rajalilasana, the position of Roayal Ease on a broad lotus base. Her right hand is in varada mudra (the gesture of giving), her left in vitarka mudra (the gesture of explication) and small mandorla fames the rear of her head. A lengthy inscription in Newari (Nepalese) around the lower register of the base.
