Subject:Help verifying Lao Tin Li box
Posted By: Morgan Tue, Jan 14, 2020 IP: 128.252.25.37

So, let me preface this by saying I know very little about antiques, especially asian antiques (I collect box cameras as a hobby, but that's about as far as my expertise goes).

I was at a large estate sale the other day, and while I didn't find any cameras, this box caught my eye. It looked handmade and high quality, though the people running the sale didn't know anything about it. I bought it for $15 to put cough drops in on my desk. After a bit of digging around on google today, I found the pattern matched other works by Lao Tian Li (see the link). While it is not signed, other boxes of similar style also do not appear to be signed (http://www.beadiste.com/2014/12/puzzling-evidence-dragon-of-lao-tian-li.html).

Can anyone help my verify if it is genuine? (Or alternatively, give advice on how I would go about verifying it)
