山水作主人 孟臣
Master of mountains and rivers Mengchen
"Mengchen" refers to Hui Mengchen. He was a famous pot maker in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, especially his Zhuni works. Because of its long-standing reputation, purple clay craftsmen of all ages have imitated it incessantly. Yixing pottery and Chaoshan craftsmen used the signature of Mengchen.
Mengchen's famous teapots have been produced from generation to generation. His name is no longer a seal, but a brand and a style.

With regards,
I.Nagy
