Posted By: Bill H Tue, Mar 12, 2013 I believe this is a "minyao" (popular kiln) mark of the Daoguang reign (1821-50)and probably of the period. The bright pink palette was popular during the 18th century as well, as can be seen in this variant bowl and underplate with Qianlong marks and a max diameter across the plate of 4.5 in. The floral scroll is unusually well painted on an even ground. |
