I just bought this here tiger "very heavy", hope you can help me with signature.

I cant help you with the signature and I am surprised that Rat or Bill H did not respond. It looks like a very nice Japanes bronze for what it's worth.
Maybe repost the signature in a new post - Rat and Bill H are very knowlegabel and could well have overlooked it

I'd been hoping somebody would come along and read the first character, at the left and on its side. It occurs to me that the mark may read "Seiko" (清光)
but I've only seen it before in a more standard form, as in the image herewith off the base of another Japanese bronze tiger.
