Subject:Antique Chinese Exquisitely Carved Box
Posted By: Jim Wed, Sep 30, 2015 IP: 24.23.44.221 hi everybody. i just found this piece. it measures 11 inches in length. as you can see from the pictures, it's broken(unfortunately). i would like to find out how old it is, what does the mark mean, and what the material is that it's made of. i've provided a picture of the mark on the base. also, is it worth trying to fix it. the pieces do fit together nicely, so that there's only a couple of spots where you can see the break. any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks
