Subject:Translation and Identification
Posted By: eklekted Tue, May 24, 2016 IP: 174.21.155.90 Hi, I would like help if possible translating this text and perhaps someone could help identify the artist or name of the artwork. Also, I have not encountered a print with a wax paper over the surface before. I assume it's for preservation but if anyone knows, please explain. Thanks! |

Posted By: Stan Wed, May 25, 2016 This appears to be a reproduction of a Hiroshige I print from his famous series "The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido" the Hoeido Edition. It is Station 17 Yui. See the link below. Click on the Yui print for a larger version. |
