Subject:Japanese buddha statue - need help
Posted By: Stuart Jeffcoat Sun, Aug 28, 2016 IP: 125.237.146.238 Hi. I would love to know more about this Buddha (like) statue and its possible age eyc. It seems to be made of wood segments inside, has some typem of hesian stuff over what looks like a paste of some type - and then gilt laquer over that. I'm pretty sure it's Japanese.
