Posted By: rat Sun, Mar 26, 2017 And you are willing to pay $125,000 for this "reduculous" (the word you are looking for is ridiculous, which I agree this thing is) "second casting" which has a "fair chance" of being "an original"? You have more money to waste than I do. The casting crispness is lousy, the relief decoration is not Shang in style, the metal of the lip is too thin, the legs are not even a facsimile of a Shang original, and anyone running a bronze workshop for the Shang elite who let this out the door would have had his head handed to him. |
