Subject:Indian Sculptures?

I recently bought the wooden sculptures below. I was told that they were from India and most likely made in the 19th century. Any information concerning these pieces would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would say that the information you got is correct, both date and provenance. They could be architectural, or brackets from a juggernaut. Here's a photo I took in 1993 in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu of an old juggernaut (they still use them on special occasions). You can see literally hundreds of those carved wooden brackets on this juggernaut.
