Posted By: Stan Sun, May 20, 2018 Both prints are by Hiroshige I. The first print is "Kakegawa: Junction with the Akiba Road (Kakegawa, Akibamichi oiwake no zu)", from the series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tôkaidô Road (Tôkaidô gojûsan tsugi no uchi), also known as the Gyôsho Tôkaidô. THe Boston MFA has a copy of the print here: |

Posted By: Stan Sun, May 20, 2018 The signature is a little hard to see. I got off an the wrong foot. The artist is Hiroshige III. The print is: "Famous Places in Tokai - The Revised Fifty-Three Stations : Revised Travel Journal No. 28, Nissaka, Sayononakayama Pass". |
