Subject:Kangxi Mark Vase Blue and White Flowers
Posted By: Byron Thu, Sep 06, 2018 IP: 172.92.147.244 Hi all. This is a large vase with the six character horizontal style Kangxi mark. I know they were marked like this from the 18 C to today, but this one seems like it is a little older, like maybe Republican Period or 19th C. The decoration is not a transfer. The glaze has a kind of rippled look to it or dimply? The flowers are similar to the style of some Staffordshire pottery I had several years ago, so it might be in imitation of that style? It is about 16" tall. Thank you! |
