Posted By: rat Fri, Feb 15, 2019 The last two characters are actually the single character 翁, meaning "old geezer", so seemingly "Old Man 61" whatever the number refers to, perhaps the artist's age, i.e. "at the age of 61". The signature correctly reads 晴雲, and the two seals are truncated/simplified variants of the same two characters: the first seal drops the 月 element from 晴, and the second seal drops the 雨 element from 雲 to leave 云. |
