Subject:Artist ID Japanese painting Four Seasons
Posted By: sinder Sun, Jun 09, 2019 IP: 2600:8807:8580:770:5

Hi All,

I need help identifying the artist of these paintings. When I look through a loupe I can see that they are done on some sort of fabric. It almost looks like burlap.

There are four paintings in all. All birds and flowers. I was told the group is called the Four Seasons.

Can anyone identify the artist ?

Thanks so much,

sinder

Thank you I. Nagy. I had been searching for a very long time and could find nothing. Perhaps these paintings were very common at the time ?

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Do you know if it's actually painted on burlap ? I believe these would have been painted in the 60's maybe 70's ….
