Posted By: John Tue, Dec 03, 2019 Hi I was wondering if the pottery would be signed differently if it was one of the pieces in either the Palace of Fine Arts - At the Fair: 1904 World's Fair - Homestead or the 1893 Japan at the World's Fair: Colombian Exposition? I see he had pieces in both so is it possible he did some show pieces for that and could have been signed different? I see a lot of that company's pottery and they still mass produce it today and have him as the founder but it all seems on the cheap- non desirable side. Would this fall into that class or be more desirable if made by him not for mass production ? Sorry for the confusion but was hoping to get some insight after further researching it. |
