Posted By: John Wed, Jan 01, 2020 I really don’t know any more than you do. Asian styles are interconnected the same way Western styles are so similarities exist. And when trade expanded in the 1600s between East and West, European Baroque borrowed from Chinese and exchanged European influence to the East. Ultimately, artisans and merchants just try to sell products that appeal to whomever is buying. |
