Subject:REcognizing japanese artist or style
Posted By: JOHN Fri, Jan 01, 2021 IP: 2603:8000:d100:72c3: Hi, I'm so curious about this painting I saw sold at auction. I wasn't the winner sadly, but would love to know more about the style or the artist. Could anybody help me with that? |

Posted By: John Buonocore Sat, Jan 02, 2021 I. Nagy, would you be able to help me find another painting like this? I apologize for my misidentification. The auction house actually listed it as a Japanese painting and my friend who is Japanese said the seal said “Ken”. If I were to look for another painting like this, I would just search 1960s Chinese silk painting socialist realism”? |
