Subject:Danny Lee or Li - California artist
Posted By: goldie Tue, Dec 30, 2008 IP: 72.64.11.36

I purchased several oil paintings by Danny Lee (Li), a marvelous young oriental artist in San Francisco 25 or 30 years ago. Internet searches have proven fruitless and I wonder if anyone knows of this artist, his current whereabouts, etc.

Hi,
I have two paintings by Danny (if it's the same artist, he signs his paintings Danny). If it's the same artist and you are interested in exchanging info. please let me know.

Thanks,

I bought one of his painting at a garage sale for $2.00. I just started doing some research on him, two of his paintings are for sale on Ebay. It says he signs most of his paintings just, Danny. So I assume he signs some Danny Lee. Mine is Danny Lee. The Danny part matches perfectly with the ones on Ebay.

I have actually 3 of Danny Lees paintings. I have a large 4'x 3' piece of artist is of mountain sides and waterfalls, I Love it! I also have two smaller ones that are floral, I really like them too. I cant seem to find anything much about his art, I was told by a very reliable source, who unfortunately since passed away, that he started painting and selling them to earn money to bring his family to the U.S., I wish I had more to share
