Subject:Vietnamese Bronze Vase

I have a set of 2 bronze vases that were brought back in the 1940's in Indochina. They are very heavy and unique in their geometry, They are not squared, round or rectangle but some sort of weird geometry shape (see photos) they are beautiful but I would love to know their origin and purpose

I think japanese bronze vases Meiji period 1868-1912 And i find them beatiful.regards wil
