Subject:Possible Meiji Taisho Nippon Plate

Hello and thank you in advance for looking at my posting!

I have this Japanese plate that is very similar to the design of the Meiji Taisho Kutani Nippon pieces I've seen on the web and was wondering if anyone could help me identify this!

Hi Nathan,

Well.... you found most yourselve. It's Japanese and Kutani indeed and a very nice piece as well(IMO). Your plate/dish was made by Watano wich was a very famous company during the Meiji period. The full mark reads "Kaga no Kuni Watano sei".
