Subject:Antique Fishing Farming Reading Wood Cutting Vase

Hello and thank you in advance for the answers I've received so far and for taking a look at another one of my items!

I've has an acquaintance look at some of these items including this one and there have been some discrepancies with what was told to me and what I have received here.

So I would like to see what you all think about this particular item. It was described to me as possibly 100+ year old vase of a famous scene 渔樵耕读 "Fishing, Farming, Reading, Wood Cutting".

Is this congruent with what you all see here and is there any provenance anyone can provide of where this possibly came from?

sounds right to me in all respects; 100 years =/- a decade or two sounds right. the inscription seems to be a poem only, no signature/date is visible. you might try dating the vase more specifically by comparing the faces of the painted figures to those in Tommy Eklof's new book.
