The small characters at the upper right read down in Japanese as "Arita" (有田), the well-known porcelain-producing area. The larger characters at left read down as "Man'ei" (萬永 - also transcribed as Manei).

The link shows a recent eBay result for a Manei dish.

Thank you so much for your answer! Very disappointing price tag from your link, though :)
Nevertheless, these characters are on 2 large porcelain chargers, and they seem to have a quality grade way above this exemple. Maybe they are worth keeping for a while instead of selling. Thanks again!
