Dear all,
grateful for any advice on this hanging which has been in the family from the 1950's or earlier. Looks like fine work in silk.

Done some more research, looks like a derivative Gu Embroidery in the style of Shen Zhou after Ni Zan.

Can anyone tell me anything about the title or the artist in the red seal?

Can't make out the red "seal" unfortunately, but the rest of the inscription simply describes the activities in the scene: air-drying nets, selling fish, seeing someone off, a village, etc. doesn't seem mass produced. not sure where you are getting style of Shen Zhou by way of Ni Zan, but there may be some Ming landscapes in this vein that this is emulating. Can you post a clearer image of the red "seal"?
