I Need help to indetify this old chinese plate. Please If take some info I thanks you very much.
the plate is broken. But I see beutiful the face of the man an children.

This is Japanese rather than Chinese, and worth keeping for the nice painting I think. Hopefully one of the Japan experts will see this and read the second character of the artist's name. Otherwise I only can see 川 x 造, or "made by Kawa- x"

If not, maybe repost asking for "help identifying this old _Japanese_ plate" and it may catch their attention then.

Hi Micaela,

This is not Chinese but Japanese. It is Kutani (like) ware from Yokohama. Dating around Taisho period. The mark? ..... I think it could read Kawato zo (not sure).

This could be a six character Japanese mark from 1880-1900. The paper label should be removed. My Andatch book has a similar mark for KAWAMOTO.
Good luck, the hand painted art work is great.
