Friend don't want give to me. Not sure is it made of jade?

This could be very well Nephrite (Jade) On the other hand, judging by the gloss, it could be glass or plastic as well. Maybe sharper pictures would help. Ernest

The carving looks very like a glass one i saw at auction a few years ago...Certainly modern
