Subject:Chinese embroided silk wall art

I just bought this beautiful Chinese framed silk embroidery art (framed size 46.5" by 26.5"). I was hoping someone could tell me what era it is from, what the characters mean and what it's potential value is. It also has watermark characters along the frame edge. I came across this forum and wondered if anyone could help me.

These can be lovely. Chinese, probably dates not earlier than the 1980s, the four characters describe the red of the blossoms(?, not sure of first character) and the blue-green of the birds' feathers.
