Subject:Help identifying Asian jar

Just acquired blue jar stands 3.5 inches tall. Artwork on all three handles. Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.

Appears to be Japanese transfer-decorated porcelain, circa Taisho Period (1912-26) or a bit later, perhaps a sugar bowl from a tea set or an occasional jar for a lady's dresser.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Not only transfer, in my opinion, but below average in quality due to fading, caused by failure of the pattern to adhere properly, I believe.

It's transfer. See the line break in the decoration above and below the bird in the first picture.

I agree Bill. Japanese Transfer ware as late as the 50's. Probably a sugar bowl which was part of a tea set.
